PROMOS consult strengthens position as an innovative digitisation expert
PROMOS consult, the specialist for SAP®-based software solutions in the real estate industry, has further expanded its position as an IT service provider for digitisation, in addition to its work in the growing real estate consulting and service businesses. easysquare, the cloud solution from PROMOS, currently has 8,200 professional users, who handle some 36,000 property-related transactions a day.
The number of migrations going live is also up year on year. Real estate companies such as Berliner Immobilienmanagement GmbH (BIM) and Hilfswerk-Siedlung GmbH (HWS), for example, have chosen the latest ERP version SAP® S/4 HANA. To optimise how they manage of their property portfolio, they use the software solution PROMOS.GT, an open solution library for all real estate-related processes.
PRMOS has responded to the strong order books by taking on extra staff. The number of employees rose by 15 percent over a six-month period, bringing the total number of team members to 184.
“We are seeing a profound change in our core business: away from traditional business areas such as selling licences or consulting by the day, and into new business models such as providing cloud solutions and solutions for mobile devices,” said Jens Kramer, CEO of PROMOS consult.
Digitisation has already made considerable progress, especially in the housing industry. The use of mobile devices to handle numerous different aspects of tenant communication is testimony to this. Around 15 percent of housing companies in Germany now offer service apps for their tenants.
“easysquare, a cloud-based solution for professional property management, brings together our innovations in terms of apps and digitisation and offers a consistent app-based user interface. We can use easysquare to establish, operate and integrate real estate marketplaces. All conceivable scenarios in managing 962,000 homes are being made much easier with easysquare. We have grown our expertise in digitisation and integrated it into development. We now have a veritable production line of apps,” added Kramer.
PROMOS is constantly enhancing its portfolio of solutions, investing in new solutions and cooperating with market participants to increase the added value for customers and help them become even more efficient.
