Utility cost management – a hot topic at Expo Real and in our portfolio

Last week, Munich was once again transformed into the real estate capital of Europe. At Expo Real, traditional real estate companies met real estate newcomers, ideas providers met users and business managers met product managers. The PROMOS booth provided insights into topical issues in the digital economy. One of the most hotly discussed topics in real estate and software companies is the issue of utility cost management. We provide information on this with a trade fair report and a new entry in our portfolio.

Expo Real as a hub for digitisation topics

An app for digital communication with current and potential tenants, the ERP system to go and intelligent utility cost management were the topics on which PROMOS focussed at Expo Real. Visitors found out about their digital options in booth presentations and personal conversations. After all, one thing that all three topics have in common is that there continues to be huge potential for optimisation and savings:

  • On the one hand, a tenant app such as that of easysquare meets the need of tenants for communication and information independent of time and location. On the other hand, efficiency is increased in the company’s own processes.
  • The new PROMOS.GT ready2 transfers previously isolated operating processes with manual interfaces into a standardised SAP®-based ERP system, completely without the need for extensive migration scenarios. The system comes preconfigured out of the box and ready to go. The holistic and integrated digital processing of workflows brings huge benefits. Potential tenants in Munich also realised this right away.
  • In recent years, intelligent and digitised utility cost management has become the focus of real estate economic considerations, primarily as a result of new legal requirements. The additional benefits that a good IT solution can achieve in this area surprised and delighted our audience at Expo Real.

Following our booth presentations, we enjoyed some exciting discussions with our audience. Perhaps this will give rise to various projects, which we can then tell you about in our newsletter or in our specialist magazine IT&I. At Expo Real, we also established that digital utility cost management remains the topic with the greatest need for explanation and advice. This is partly because the legal situation is rather complex in places, making it impossible to precisely foresee future requirements, and partly because the initial situations and requirements of companies vary greatly. Our new detailed portfolio information on utility cost management with EXAD aims to shed light on the range of possibilities.

EXAD 2.0 in the PROMOS portfolio

With the software for the independent consumption-based billing of heating and hot water costs and VDI 2077, users can enjoy a new level of autonomy. No matter which source consumption data is obtained from – whether via a mobile device directly in the property or by means of import from SAP® or other third-party systems – in EXAD 2.0 you will experience uniform and integrated electronic billing. The tool is highly integrative, like all solutions from the easysquare range. In the new portfolio entry, you will find all the details, features, advantages and visual impressions of the modern interface.
