Next level innovation – OpenPromos user forum 2019 looks down from the stars

We wanted to soar as high as possible. Up to the next level. Preferably with a rocket launch. The OpenPromos user forum 2019 aimed to once again provide the initial spark for us to question ourselves. What can we do better? Where are the hidden optimisation potentials that could create decisive competitive advantages for our customers? And which technical innovations are trailblazing for us... perhaps so trailblazing that they require their own orbits?

In an enthralling presentation, Jens Kramer and his team explained why digitisation requires innovations and which ones PROMOS has available. From Onboarding 3.0 to automatic management and the new tile design, they presented numerous large and small changes in the easysquare app family, all of which have one primary goal: to generate the greatest possible savings potential for you, the customer. This could be measured in time, money or human resources. In terms of SAP® innovations, there was one particularly pressing topic for our Consulting Team, namely the new worlds of SAP Fiori®. Explaining information, activities and required actions in such a way that the users simply find without having to seek – this is the future approach that awaits you.

Following this, several expert speakers presented strategically important topics from the global field of technology and digitisation. To avoid drifting completely off into the tech world, Professor Gunter Dueck once again united the worlds of IT experts and managers with his talk on the appropriate treatment of people.

In the evening, the participants turned their backs on the explosive topics of the day and travelled in nostalgic vintage buses to the Classic Remise, where they enjoyed culinary delights amongst the glitz of vintage and collectors’ cars. The restored former tram depot lent the evening a very special atmosphere.

In keeping with our traditional motto “practical experience for practical application,” on the second day our customers presented the advantages, implementation models, project challenges and future prospects of our solutions in the context of daily use in their companies. Were you there too and did you find inspiration for one or two process improvements or digitisation strategies? We were certainly amazed by the overwhelming feedback on the event. With an average rating of 1.29 points on a scale from 1 to 4, OPUF 2019 is among the most successful events in the history of our company.

Thank you for your participation. We are already looking forward to seeing you again in Berlin in 2021.
