EXPO REAL 2022 – Our highlights: case studies, get-together, CareerDay and the new IT&I magazine

Three stimulating, exciting and, above all, informative days are behind us – EXPO REAL was a complete success. Since this was the first major real-estate event following the trade fair cancellations of the past years due to the pandemic, it’s no surprise that the event was eagerly awaited. Almost 40,000 people visited the fair this year. We report on the most exciting developments.

EXPO REAL is known as a place for networking and sharing information about real estate management. At the event, our PROMOS employees met old hands from the industry as well as potential new customers and interested parties. At our stand, they discussed the latest digitisation topics and the future of the real estate industry. Our luggage for Munich contained the latest edition of our specialist magazine “Informationstechnologie und Immobilien” (IT&I) and four exciting presentation topics.

Dan Costea and Natalie Deimel from MEAG and Daniel Dierich from PROMOS kicked off with their presentation, showing how easy it is to rent and manage commercial properties via external agents using the easysquare app. They also provided insights into exciting future projects, such as the digital apartment handover with easysquare. In a case study, Michael Hauenstein, managing director of the Barton Group, showed how reports of defects can be processed quickly, easily and with little effort using the easysquare administrator app, from order entry through to completion notification. Our Chief Sales Officer Thoralf Beyer presented PROMOS.GT ready2 – the complete SAP® system for real estate management. A preconfigured ERP template, ready-to-use. It goes without saying that PROMOS CEO Jens Kramer was also not going to miss the opportunity to visit EXPO REAL and reveal a few details about the latest projects at PROMOS.

We ended the exciting first day of the fair with a get-together themed “Berlin is back in München”. Our colleagues were able to reflect on the first day in a relaxed atmosphere over a refreshing Berliner Luft mojito or citrusy Aperol Spritz. Another particular highlight was the CareerDay at the EXPO REAL fair, which PROMOS HR colleagues attended for the first time this year. Julia Brinkmann and Sophie Zillekens were thrilled about the numerous working students and young professionals who showed interest, and gave them an insight into day-to-day work at PROMOS and easysquare.

All round, it was thus a successful event with constructive discussions and exciting testimonials from the digital real estate world. We are already looking forward to next year, and would like to thank the numerous visitors for the wonderful experiences.
