When something goes wrong with our customers’ systems, it needs to be fixed quickly. Good thing they know where to call for help. Our customers can source SAP systems through PROMOS, and we accordingly offer them comprehensive service and support as a full-service provider. In this case, our specialists from the application service are responsible for providing quick, reliable and professional support; they are always ready to help customers with guidance and technical expertise. The submission of disruptions and service requests takes place via a ticket system. Ensuring customer satisfaction is a top priority at PROMOS in all areas.
Furthermore, the team also has expert knowledge on all PROMOS products as well as SAP standard software. Support professionals act both as partners to the customer and as detectives who must explore and investigate reported trouble areas to find the best solution. Every single day is different from the last, and the team is always receiving exciting new tasks. They take these on with a spirit of adventure and fun. Our aim is to always have a solution available and be able to support our customers with suggestions for improvement.
It is often necessary to first build a new SAP infrastructure for the customer. The SAP basis team ensures that the customer’s servers are set up properly to be fully functional. There are also employees at PROMOS responsible for firewalls, data security and dealing with the data centre. Our IT infrastructure team works around the clock to ensure comprehensive security management.
IT Administration is the point of contact for all internal IT processes, Windows devices and Windows servers as well as the administration of hardware issued to employees. To ensure internal and external communications at PROMOS run smoothly, our in-house IT colleagues see to it that all work stations are fully equipped and that all communications media at PROMOS function properly. They also work together with our other IT departments to develop their expertise on technical topics such as VPN or Citrix virtualisation.
The in-house IT department works with a ticket system. Tasks are distributed internally among the team. Each team member has their own task area. This provides us with experts for backups, incoming orders, budget planning and our internal telephone system.

Your path to PROMOS
There are two ways to become a support consultant or technical consultant at PROMOS – through technical vocational training or a technical degree programme. Ideally, you can bring not only good communication skills and technical know-how, but also knowledge of SAP or experience in the real estate sector. Of course, you can also always think outside the box with us.
