PROMOS consult is one of the best employers in the Berlin/Brandenburg region
The award stands for outstanding commitment in shaping a trusting and supportive culture of cooperation within a company. And it was also cooperation that became a key focus for the Berlin consultancy and digitisation specialists in the pandemic year 2020. Within one day, the company shifted to remote work and digital media to seamlessly continue its consultation, service and development business both with customers and in teams.
“We are very proud that, despite the distance with remote work, we have been able to maintain a high degree of togetherness, and this sense of belonging has once again been confirmed in our employee survey,” says Jens Kramer, CEO of PROMOS consult. The provision of equipment, awareness of virtual work methods, regular video meetings and team events are just a few examples of the many measures used by the company to support its employees. The option of flexible working hours and home schooling through the company’s own online school, PROMOS Campus Junior, was also received with great enthusiasm. Various subjects – from mathematics, German and English to geography, P.E. and creative subjects such as painting, crafts and puzzling – were available on the daily class schedule.
“I myself am one of those who benefit from the mutual consideration and wonderful support from our colleagues. Your work doesn’t stop but you’re suddenly also a primary school teacher at home. With this in mind, I would like to express my extraordinary gratitude to those who helped make everything work last year,” Kramer added.
The employees attested to their company’s special commitment in the areas of health promotion, social benefits and in encouraging work-life balance – also a finding of the anonymous employee survey in November 2020 that preceded the certification.
“The certification delivers us valuable inspiration to develop ourselves as an attractive employer. It simultaneously encourages us to grow,” said Kramer. PROMOS consult will continue to consistently focus on the further training of its employees and invest in the development of young talent with its trainees, students and interns. Participation in digital recruiting events in 2021 has already been announced. The company will take part in the digital “Jobwunder” career fair of the Technical University of Berlin on 19 May 2021 and in the BTU MatchingDay on 1 June 2021.
“The award stands for a credible management team that works with employees in a fair and respectful manner, a high level of employee identification with the company and a strong team spirit,” said Andreas Schubert, Managing Director at Great Place to Work® Germany, on the occasion of the award ceremony. The 2nd place trophy was awarded on 5 May 2021 as part of an online event.
