Having a large number of laws and regulations increases the pressure on companies in the housing and real estate industry to act. Be it the requirements of the German Heating Costs Ordinance (HKVO), the laws on energy price regulation or CO₂ emission cost allocation or regulations relating to ESG – the workload for housing companies is increasing exponentially. And the challenges do not end with the decision in favour of a technical infrastructure, selection of suitable service partners or outsourcing to external service providers. The trick is to ensure that the digitalised processes reduce administrative effort to a minimum by bringing all IT applications and partners into perfect harmony.

For this reason, PROMOS has developed an open and scalable service partner platform that offers you a centralised access point (Single Sign-on) to your digital utility cost management – regardless of how many services and service partners you have connected. It forms a bracket around a wide range of solutions, for example standard applications from SAP®, PROMOS tools, external services or the connection of external partners, such as service providers, local authorities, supply and waste disposal companies, heating meter reading companies, etc.

The service partner platform offers an open and scalable option for connecting independent software systems – whether SAP® or not. It has comprehensive business logic to map complex, internal and cross-company processes. In the area of utility cost management, for example, this includes all processes with your meter reading companies or the option of company-specific self-billing – from billing, installation and invoicing to calibration monitoring.

Special attention is paid to the digitisation of your incoming invoices in order to optimise the billing process and to make the data contained in the incoming invoices usable for further processes. This means that the digitised invoice content is seamlessly transferred to the downstream invoice workflow and is also available for process monitoring in the Utilities Cockpit. Important additional information, such as CO₂ emissions and the energy mix, can be automatically extracted from the utility bills and made available for further processes and analyses, such as ESG reporting or CO₂ monitoring. The storage of all data in your system as a central data pool opens up a wide range of possibilities.

Customised dashboards allow holistic monitoring, management and controlling of the defined processes and form the basis for displaying views from various perspectives, whether it’s the housing industry structure of your properties, the structure of the billing units in your ERP system or the property structure of your meter reading companies. Insights into the data obtained enable you to initiate measures in the area of ESG or to make investment decisions for building optimisation with confidence.

Of course, heating meter reading companies, energy supply companies and other partners can be seamlessly connected via interfaces.
